Law in Student Affairs

This course will emphasize legal issues, focusing on sources and application of educational law and responsibilities of higher education administrators.

Higher Education Administration

This course examines the administration and management of the Higher Education community. The focus will be on understanding the impact of issues related to the management of colleges and universities within a historical and philosophical content.

Financial Management

This course covers issues of financial management for student affairs professionals. It hopes to give students a solid foundation in financial management issues.

Practicum

Students typically complete 2 practica for professional experience. A practicum consists of 75 hours. You can pursue a practicum in many areas of student affairs at CSU. At least one of them should not be related to the assistantship that you hold.
