The Inclusive University
The goal of this course is for each student to develop an informal plan for personal and professional action relating to creating, participating, and managing more inclusive communities.
Organizational Behavior in Student Affairs
The goal of this course is to understand the basic principles of organizational behavior from structural, human resource, political, and cultural perspectives, with an emphasis on leadership and student affairs organizations in higher education.
Human Relations in Education (Counseling/Helping)
This course is designed to prepare students to effectively handle counseling situations in their professional role. It will focus on theory and practical application of counseling in student affairs.
Practicum
Students typically complete 2 practica for professional experience. A practicum consists of 75 hours. You can pursue a practicum in many areas of student affairs at CSU. At least one of them should not be related to the assistantship that you hold.
